Night 1: 21h00 pickup at the hotel. Transfer to railway station for a night train * at 22h00 to Sapa.

Day 1: Laocai - Sapa (B)
Arrive in Laocai at 07h30. Pick up at Laocai station and then 45-minute transfer from Laocai Station to Sapa is very scenic with spectacular views as the road winds up the terraced hillsides before arriving at the former French hill resort. Check in hotel before the trip starts. Walking tour of Sapa visits the busy market where Red Zdao, Black H'mong and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts and to buy provisions. You will be amazed by the beauty of the unique local handicrafts

PM: Visit some of nearby hill tribe villages Catcat. Catcat village is only 5 kilometers from hotel, so you can easily walk to this small H'mong village where charming inhabitants will perhaps offer to share some 'ruou' (traditional rice alcohol) with you. Relax beside the nearby waterfall or visit the old French-colonial power station. Late in the evening, experience Sapa's unique Love Market**. Ethnic minorities from the surrounding villages, especially Red Zdao people, put on their most colorful costumes and head to Sapa's market on Saturday. The girls try to hide in the dark shadows and sing the love songs to attract the boys, who try to find where the songs come from. If the two young people are well matched, they go together into the forest for three days. Back from this escapade, they can get married if they desire. Be quiet and patient to discover it. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi (B)
Option 1: Discover Ham Rong moutain. Ham Rong mountain is 1,750 m high and 1.5 km up from the center of Sapa Town, taking you about 2.5 hours round trip trekking. It has absolutely wonderful scenery of panoramic view of the whole Sapa Town in cloud. You will have a chance to discover large orchid gardens...

Option 2: 9h30 our driver will take you to visit Lao Chai, Tavan Village. (Villages of Black H'mong, Tay, Day, Dao minorities) Cau may and Bai Da Co. Lunch at Village ( walking 4,5 Km during this trip)

PM transfer by road to Laocai town for free visit Laocai town, Vietnam - China Border, and then take to Laocai station for the night train. Arrive back in Hanoi approximately 10 hours later. Tour end.

Inclusion:
Car pick up hotel and transfer to Hanoi railways station Sharing car round trip from Laocai station to Sapa. Train ticket (Soft sleeper 2 ways), entrance fee, local English speaking guide, accommodation, meals as indicated.
